PROVISIONAL FOUNDATIONAL GLOSSARY OF THE
THEORY OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS OF ENTROPIC RESISTANCE (TESERE)
By Yoel Marrero
PREAMBLE
TESERE begins from the hypothesis that multiple phenomena of reality share common structural principles related to organization, identity, persistence, regeneration, and resistance against entropic degradation.
The present glossary provisionally establishes the fundamental definitions used within the conceptual system of TESERE.
BLOCK I — FUNDAMENTAL ONTOLOGY
STRUCTURE
Structure is the fundamental set of organizational relations that defines the ontological identity of a system and establishes the basic possibilities of its functioning, persistence, and evolution.
ORGANIZATION
Organization is the specific functional disposition through which a structure operates, coordinates its components, and maintains dynamic coherence within a system.
CONFIGURATION
Configuration is the concrete and specific arrangement of the organizational components of a system within a determined structure.
INFORMATION
Information is the coding system through which a structure and its organization can reproduce, transmit, and preserve themselves coherently through time.
IDENTITY
Identity is the coherent continuity of structure, organization, and information that allows a system to remain ontologically recognizable through time and through its transformations.
SYSTEM
A system is an organized structural unit composed of interrelated elements operating coherently in order to maintain identity, persistence, and regenerative capacity against entropy.
BLOCK II — SYSTEM DYNAMICS
EVOLUTION
Evolution is the process through which a system coherently expands its structural and organizational possibilities through quantitative accumulations that produce qualitative reorganizations without rupture of fundamental identity continuity.
REGENERATION
Regeneration is the capacity of a system to reorganize, reproduce, and coherently expand its structural identity against processes of wear and entropic degradation.
DEGENERATION
Degeneration is the process through which a system loses coherent regenerative capacity due to degradation in the relationship between structure, organization, and information, reducing identity, stability, and reproductive fidelity.
ENTROPY
Entropy is the tendency of a system to expand toward a greater number of possible states, progressively reducing configurational coherence, organizational stability, and structural identity.
PERSISTENCE
Persistence is the capacity of a system to preserve identity continuity against temporal wear and entropic pressures from the environment.
BLOCK III — STRUCTURAL TOPOLOGY
TOPOLOGICAL SPACE
A topological space is the organized set of states, relations, and navigational possibilities compatible with the structural identity of a system.
NODE
A node is a specific organizational position within a topological space from which a system can access determined compatible possibilities.
PATHWAY
A pathway is a coherent transitional route between compatible nodes within a structured topological space.
STRUCTURAL NAVIGATION
Structural navigation is the capacity to move coherently between compatible nodes and pathways within an organized topological space.
BLOCK IV — STRUCTURAL COGNITION
STRUCTURAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Structural consciousness is the capacity to perceive, understand, and coherently navigate an organized system.
STRUCTURAL INTUITION
Structural intuition is rapid and partially automated access to structural possibilities previously internalized through organized training.
UNDERSTANDING
Understanding is the functional internalization of a structure to the point of allowing coherent navigation within its organizational possibilities.
STRUCTURAL FREEDOM
Structural freedom is the capacity to access, navigate, and coherently combine compatible possibilities within a structured topological space.
BLOCK V — COMPLEXITY AND RESISTANCE
COHERENT COMPLEXITY
Coherent complexity is the organized increase of compatible structural relations that enhances stability, regenerative capacity, and entropic resistance.
STRUCTURAL SHIELDING
Structural shielding is the set of organizational, informational, and methodological mechanisms that increase a system’s resistance against degenerative and entropic processes.
REPRODUCTIVE FIDELITY
Reproductive fidelity is the capacity of a system to coherently transmit its structure, organization, and identity without significant degradation.
ORGANIZATIONAL NOISE
Organizational noise is the incorporation of incompatible relations, configurations, or information that interfere with the structural coherence of a system.
ONTOLOGICAL RUPTURE
Ontological rupture occurs when structural degradation reaches a sufficient level to destroy the fundamental identity continuity of a system.
BLOCK VI — APPLICATION TO THE MCC
CHOREOGRAPHIC DNA
Choreographic DNA is the set of fundamental structural, organizational, and navigational relations that define the deep identity of a choreographic system.
CHOREOGRAPHIC FIGURE
A choreographic figure is the minimum coherent structural unit within an organized choreographic system.
CHOREOGRAPHIC SYSTEM
A choreographic system is an organized set of figures, pathways, and navigational relations capable of maintaining identity, transmission, and functional coherence.
CHOREOGRAPHIC TOPOLOGY
Choreographic topology is the spatial and relational organization of nodes, pathways, and combinatory possibilities within a choreographic system.
METHODOLOGICAL SHIELDING
Methodological shielding is the set of pedagogical, organizational, and codifying resources intended to preserve structural fidelity and regenerative resistance within a choreographic system.
WELL-FORMED CASINO
Well-Formed Casino is a structurally organized, optimized, and methodologically shielded choreographic system designed to preserve and coherently expand the structural identity of Casino.
MÉTODO DEL CUADRO DEL CASINO (MCC)
The Método del Cuadro del Casino is a methodological system of formalization, regeneration, navigation, and structural shielding applied to the domain of Cuban Social Dances.
FINAL
The present glossary constitutes a provisional and evolutionary formulation of the fundamental concepts of TESERE.
Its definitions may continue to be refined as the doctrinal, philosophical, and methodological development of the theory advances.
