THEORY OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS OF ENTROPIC RESISTANCE (TESERE)
By Yoel Marrero
PREAMBLE
All observable existence appears to be subjected to a permanent tension between organization and degradation. Wherever a structure emerges capable of persisting through time, transmitting identity, and reorganizing itself against deterioration, a phenomenon of organizational resistance against the general entropic tendency of the universe appears.
Life, language, culture, technology, science, social systems, and choreographic systems seem to obey, at different levels, common principles of structuring, organization, transmission, and identity. These principles do not belong exclusively to a single domain of knowledge, but rather cut transversally across multiple manifestations of reality.
The present theory arises as an attempt to formalize these common principles.
NAME OF THE THEORY
The present formulation provisionally receives the name:
THEORY OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS OF ENTROPIC RESISTANCE
(TESERE)
OBJECT OF STUDY
TESERE studies organized structural systems capable of:
— persisting through time;
— transmitting identity;
— reorganizing under environmental conditions;
— evolving through coherent expansion of possibilities;
— and resisting processes of entropic degradation.
The theory studies biological, cultural, cognitive, linguistic, social, technical, choreographic, and organizational systems.
CENTRAL THESIS
The central thesis of TESERE states that:
Every persistent structure requires coherent organization and systems of information capable of reproducing identity against forces of entropic degradation.
The evolution of a system occurs when quantitative accumulations qualitatively reorganize its structure, coherently expanding its navigational possibilities within a determined organizational space.
Degeneration occurs when coherence between structure, organization, and information is broken, producing progressive loss of identity and reduction of functional stability.
FOUNDATIONAL TRIAD
TESERE recognizes three fundamental dimensions within every persistent system:
STRUCTURE
Structure constitutes the ontological “what” of the system.
It is the set of fundamental relations that make something what it is and not something else.
Structure defines deep identity.
ORGANIZATION
Organization constitutes the functional “how” of the system.
It is the specific manner in which structural components interact, distribute themselves, and operate coherently.
Organization determines functional stability.
INFORMATION
Information constitutes the reproductive code of the system.
It is the set of instructions, relations, and mechanisms that allow structure and organization to be coherently transmitted through time.
Information guarantees reproductive fidelity.
IDENTITY
Identity emerges from the stable coherence between structure, organization, and information.
When one of these dimensions degrades sufficiently, the system loses ontological continuity and progressively ceases to be what it was.
Identity is not defined solely by phenomenological appearance, but by organized structural continuity.
EVOLUTION AND DEGENERATION
TESERE distinguishes between evolution and degeneration.
EVOLUTION
Evolution consists of the coherent expansion of structural and organizational possibilities without rupture of fundamental identity.
All authentic evolution implies:
— structural continuity;
— functional reorganization;
— expansion of navigational possibilities;
— and increase of coherent complexity.
DEGENERATION
Degeneration consists of the loss of coherence between structure, organization, and information.
When a system incorporates elements incompatible with its fundamental structural DNA, organizational fractures emerge that increase entropic susceptibility and reduce identity fidelity.
STRUCTURAL CONSCIOUSNESS
TESERE maintains that structural consciousness is the capacity to perceive, understand, and coherently navigate an organized system.
To understand does not mean to memorize isolated elements, but to internalize the structure of a system sufficiently to move freely within its organizational possibilities.
Structural consciousness is trainable.
Organized repetition, coherent routines, and methodological formalization make it possible to transform conscious linear sequences into navigable topological networks of fluid operation.
STRUCTURAL FREEDOM
TESERE defines freedom as operational access to structural possibilities.
True freedom does not consist in the arbitrary rupture of structure, but in the capacity to coherently navigate a deeply internalized organizational space.
Authentic improvisation emerges from structural mastery.
Therefore:
Technique does not limit freedom.
Technique liberates.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MÉTODO DEL CUADRO DEL CASINO (MCC)
The Método del Cuadro del Casino constitutes a practical and experimental application of principles compatible with TESERE within the domain of Cuban Social Dances.
The MCC starts from the hypothesis that Casino possesses:
— an identifiable structure;
— an optimizable organization;
— a transmissible choreographic DNA;
— and a formalizable navigational topology.
The MCC attempts to increase the structural fidelity of Casino through:
— notation;
— nomenclature;
— topological navigation;
— biomechanical optimization;
— pedagogical formalization;
— and systems of organizational transmission.
FINAL
TESERE does not seek to reduce all reality to a single rigid scheme, but rather to propose a framework of observation oriented toward understanding how organized systems persist, evolve, transform, or degrade.
The theory begins from the hypothesis that multiple domains of existence share common structural principles and that the development of structural consciousness allows a deeper understanding of the processes of organization, transmission, and transformation of reality.
